FocusTrip Terms of Usage

Welcome to FocusTrip! These Terms of Usage (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the FocusTrip mobile application (“App”), developed and operated by Humpty Dumpty Studio (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By downloading, installing, or using FocusTrip, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Account Registration & Safety

  • Account Creation: You may need to create an account using your email address, Apple ID, Google Account, or other supported authentication methods to access certain features.
  • Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your details updated.
  • Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

2. License & Intellectual Property

  • Grant of License: Humpty Dumpty Studio grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use FocusTrip for your personal, non-commercial productivity use on compatible devices.
  • Ownership: All content, software, graphics, branding, visual interfaces, interactive features, and intellectual property rights in FocusTrip remain the exclusive property of Humpty Dumpty Studio and its licensors.
  • Restrictions: You agree not to:
    • Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App;
    • Rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the App to third parties;
    • Use the App for any illegal, unauthorized, or disruptive purpose.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

While using FocusTrip, you agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations;
  • Attempt to bypass security measures, gain unauthorized access to servers, or tamper with screen-time tracking or system APIs;
  • Distribute viruses, malware, or destructive code through or against our services;
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with Humpty Dumpty Studio.

4. System & API Usage

  • FocusTrip utilizes platform-level productivity features (such as Apple Screen Time API or Android equivalents) to calculate and manage your focus sessions.
  • The App relies on your device operating system permissions to run effectively. Disabling or revoking necessary permissions may impact feature performance.

5. Termination

  • By You: You may stop using FocusTrip at any time by deleting the App from your device or requesting account deletion via support.
  • By Us: Humpty Dumpty Studio reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to FocusTrip without prior notice if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or illegal activity.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

  • FocusTrip is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
  • We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, bug-free, or fully error-free at all times.
  • FocusTrip is a productivity tool meant to assist with personal focus; we do not guarantee specific productivity or behavioral outcomes.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Humpty Dumpty Studio and its affiliates, directors, or employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use FocusTrip.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may modify or update these Terms from time to time. When changes are made, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this document. Continued use of FocusTrip after any updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
